Business Challenge

Totally custom build modules for replacing their existing application to handle the HR and staffing processes. Major requirement was managing Curriculum Vitae(CV) of candidates and there related contracts. The requirement specifies rapid access of CV & Contracts, Keyword search, automatic indexation and classification of CV’s & contracts and provision for searching out documents based on different criteria’s.

Zbeanz’s Solution

Customized module using OpenERP document management was implemented to meet the customer requirements. The system allowed accessing of documents directly from the system as well as through file system using the FTP protocol.  Structure type was created based on each type of given document. The documents attached were automatically indexed along with classifications which allowed the users to do easy searching of documents using keywords. Different types of search criteria’s like searches with attachment name or attachment type or file name or indexed content or owner of the file was also embedded in the solution.
Also contact management, automatic check of right candidates for jobs as required from the candidate pool, managing communication and documents related to the Jobs and candidates,margin calculation matrix, cost rules configurations, mail reminders, time sheet entry and reports related to all the processes including agreements were implemented.

  • The system allowed the company to have a better and faster way of controlling there documents. The users could now easily attach the documents and search out any type of document with the various search criteria’s available in the system.
