Star Entrepreneur Award for Lepeesh

January 14, 2012 - CEO of ZestyBeanz, Mr Lepeesh Parat has been conferred with the "Star Entrepreneur" Award at the Indira International Innovation Summit, Pune(India) for 2012.

The Summit aims to develop an insight into developing a mindset for Innovation. Organizations are faced with a consistent challenge of breaking the routine and helping Individuals to move to new levels of performance. The Innovation Summit helps to break mindsets and develop a leash for new thinking.

Lepeesh was recognised for his leadership and contribution in the field of Entrepreneurship & Innovation. The award consisted of a trophy and a citation and was distributed at the 5th Innovation Summit on 13th of January.

"OpenERP for Educational Institutions", launched by Minister

November 21, 2011 - Honorable Minister of the state for Public works Sri.V.K.Ebrahim Kunju, inaugurated the official launch of the project "Total Automation Solution for Educational institutions" at GEC Sreekrishnapuram. The project is being carried out by Zesty Beanz, associating some final year students from the department of computer science and technology of the college. The solution, that handles academic as well as administrative processes, is designed using OpenERP. The project provides an industry exposure to the students involved. The student involvement is part of the Zesty Beanz policy that promotes the motto - "Earn while you learn".

 

ZestyBeanz Bags New Contracts - "The Hindu - November 3, 2011"

November 04, 2011 - It became news worth attention when the  GTech delegation team comprising representatives of 13 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) returned from a successful business trip to Germany,Netherlands and Switzerland with a handful of deals. ZestyBeanz was represented by CEO of the company Mr. Lepeesh Parat. Even though the non-traditional european market is always seen as a tough nut to crack for the IT sector in Kerala, Zesty Beanz was able to ink pact with firms in Germany and Netherlands.

 

 

 

OpenERP for Colombian Hospital

September 21, 2011 - ZestyBeanz has signed a contract for implementing OpenERP at Hospital Departmental Universitario Del Quindio San Juan De Dios in Colombia. The hospital is leading an initiative that seeks to strengthen information system through the development and adoption of Free Software. The first phase of the implementation is integration of the their existing Electronic Medical Record(EMR) software "Yagé" with OpenERP. The other modules that are being implemented are; Medical order processing, Purchase accounting system, Store/Pharmacy management, Sales accounting, Financial management, Patients/Suppliers management, HR, Payroll and Document management.

OpenERP implementation at Engg. College

September 01, 2011 - Consultants from ZestyBeanz along with the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering of Government Engineering College(GEC) Sreekrishnapuram, Palakkad are implementing OpenERP at their campus. This project is being carried out by ZestyBeanz as a part of national wide movement aimed at educational institutions in imparting value addition through practical learning for students apart from what they get through theoretical learning. The project execution particularly is having involvement of both students from GEC and consultants from ZestyBeanz Technologies. Students are involved in all the stages of the project right from initial requirement gathering to Go-Live. This would give students a real time hands on experience on executing a full SDLC (Software development life cycle). ZestyBeanz would be responsible for the customization, development, implementation and support.

The project aims to automate GEC's academic and administration activities involving Students, Teachers, Departments and Libraries with the help of OpenERP, one of the fastest growing opensource ERPs. The system is expected to serve approximately 800 students and 100 staff members who are supposed to be active in the system in every year.

Zesty Partnering with Gainroot (USA)

August 24, 2011 - Gainroot Corporation, a Systems Development and Managed Services company serving Northeast Ohio (USA) has signed an agreement with ZestyBeanz to work together on OpenERP and related projects. The partnership mainly aims to explore the Open Source potential in the region, especially among Small/Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Gainroot focuses on Cloud, Open Source and Virtualization; both applications and infrastructure are intended to leverage the expertise of ZestyBeanz in the respective domains.
