1. Enable Dropshipping in Odoo 18
To start using dropshipping, you need to enable the feature in Odoo:
Navigate to Apps and ensure that both the Purchase and Inventory modules are installed.
Go to Inventory → Configuration → Settings.
Locate the Routes section and enable Dropshipping.
Click Save to apply the changes.
2. Configure a Product for Dropshipping
Go to Sales → Products and create a new product or edit an existing one.
In the General Information tab:
Set the Product Type to Storable.
Enable Can be Sold and Can be Purchased.
3. Move to the Purchase tab:
Add a Vendor (supplier) that will handle the fulfillment.
Ensure the Dropship route is enabled.
3. Create a Dropshipping Order
Navigate to Sales → Quotations and create a new quotation.
Select a customer and add a product configured for dropshipping.
3. Confirm the sales order.
4. Odoo will automatically generate a Purchase Order (PO) for the vendor.
5. Inside the sale order there'll be the purchase order that is created and inside the purchase order you can see the sales from which this has been created.
6. When we confirm the order that is the purchase order, we can see another new thing which is the drop ship.
7. Drop Shipping has been created over here so click on the Dropship here and then what you have to do is you have to validate it.
8. Validating this Dropship so you can confirm the quantities.
4. Complete the payment procedure.
Go back to the purchase order and you can see the ‘create bill’ is active now so let's create the Bill and complete the procedure.

3. Then you can make the payment.
4. Go back to the sale order here and you can see your ‘create invoice’ is active now.
5. After confirming it you can do the payment.
6. Select the create payment option and then make the payment.
